A lot, I mean really a lot of doge and burn at the skin texture! some liquify for her nose and chin.
Skin: dodge and burn, healing brush, clone stamp. Color: Curves, selective color, color balance, B&W, photofilter Hair: dodge and burn lips: dodge and burn eyebrows and lashes: draw by hand eye white: dodge and burn, healing/cloning Facial hair (under mouth): combination of dodge and burn, healing and cloning
EDIT:
*I gave her irises more depth (i was f orgotten to do that). *I removes some stray hairs that were distracting. *I fixed the banding in her neck so far as possible (red/blue tone lines -> consequence of the color fix)
First off let me say that I am very impressed by your work. I took a few DI classes in university so I know the time and effort it takes to do this. That being said though, if I so both of those girls on the street... I'd avoid the 'after' and go after the 'before' The after just looks too plastic and fake. I realize this is the style most beauty mags use... But as I've gotten older (early 30s), I've really started to hate the airbrushed look. Maybe I'm getting old, but I find myself actually preferring the idiosyncrasies of each womans appearance. None of that is a negative reflection of your skill though. The only criticism I have looking at only the after image, would be the eye work. The contrast and sharpness seems a tad higher than the rest of the image. Was that what you were going for?
